ABOUT
German mezzosoprano Christina Bock has been member of the SEMPEROPER DRESDEN from 2014 -2020, where she sang all lyric repertoire, including roles such as Octavian, Cherubino, Orlofsky and Hänsel. She will joined the Ensemble of the STAATSOPER WIEN in the season 21/22. With the Season 22/23 she will be a resident Guest at the WIENER STAATSOPER and will also make her Debut at the BAYRISCHE STAATSOPER. Ms. Bock made her ROYAL OPERA HOUSE debut in the Season 2017/18 as the Page (Salome) and returned 2018/19 to sing Wellgunde (Der Ring der Nibelungen). Recent performances included the SALZBURG EASTER FESTIVAL, BREGENZ FESTIVAL, OPERA BASTILLE and the SALZBURGER FESTSPIELE. Bock was born in Thüringen and studied in Leipzig and Karlsruhe. Bock regularly performs in recital, including many different chambermusic projects and international festivals.
