German mezzosoprano Christina Bock has been member of the SEMPEROPER DRESDEN from 2014 -2020, where she sang all lyric repertoire, including roles such as Octavian, Cherubino, Orlofsky and Hänsel. She will join the Ensemble of the STAATSOPER WIEN in the season 21/22. Last season she also made her debut at the OPERA BASTILLE in Paris. Ms. Bock made her ROYAL OPERA HOUSE debut in the Season 2017/18 as the Page (Salome) and returned 2018/19 to sing Wellgunde (Der Ring der Nibelungen). Recent performances included the SALZBURG EASTER FESTIVAL, BREGENZ FESTIVAL and the SALZBURGER FESTSPIELE. Bock was born in Thüringen and studied in Leipzig and Karlsruhe. Bock regularly performs in recital, including many different chambermusic projects and international festivals.
